On February 28, 2026, the U.S. and Israel launched attacks on Iranian military targets and leadership. These attacks are part of the ongoing conflict that started on October 7, 2023, when Hamas, an Iranian proxy, brutally attacked and massacred Israeli civilians. This entire conflict has seen a constant flow of misinformation and lies intended to vilify Israel and the Jewish people. As believers in Jesus, it is important for us to stand against antisemitism in all its forms and to pray for the gospel to go forth to all peoples. Below are some resources that we have produced to keep you informed and help you pray effectively during these difficult times.

Israel is under attack. As conflict intensifies, we can find comfort in Psalm 121 and Psalm 46, which remind us that the God of Israel does not slumber nor sleep and remains our refuge and strength in every crisis.

What can we do?
There isn’t much we as individuals can do physically in this conflict, but there are still great needs that YOU can address! Most importantly, please pray for the situation:
Pray for God’s healing, security, and a peace that only He can bring about.
As Israelis and Iranians endure this difficult time of uncertainty and fear, pray they will seek the Lord and find Him in the midst of this ongoing struggle.
Pray that Israelis, Iranians, and all others involved would come to know the life-changing truth of the gospel.
Life in Messiah has staff and workers in various parts of Israel reaching out with the Good News of Messiah. In addition to having ministry centers in areas of danger, many who are close to our staff have been called up for reserve military duty. Please pray specifically for our staff, both for their physical safety and their emotional and spiritual well-being during this time. For more ideas on prayer, click here.
If you are looking for an additional way to help, be involved, or take action, you can donate here towards our special “Israel Relief Fund.” These past few years of conflict will have a long-lasting effect on people in Israel, both on our workers and those they are ministering to, and we are continuing to meet these serious human needs. We desire to see the gospel spread in Israel even more in this time when people are asking the big questions of life.
So far, since October 2023, over $103,000 has been contributed to our Israel Relief Fund. These funds have primarily been used to purchase food, water, and other essential products for people in Israel. These items are being stocked and used in bomb shelters, and being provided to the elderly, new immigrants, and those in need. As opportunities arise, prayers, comfort, and the gospel are shared. Donations are also used to support the work of a staff member in Israel who provides art therapy for those with trauma or PTSD.
