Life in Messiah’s Core Values
At Life in Messiah, our core values guide our decision making, culture, and our ministry efforts. We believe these Scripturally based values reflect God's desire for how we operate. We hope that they will encourage and challenge you as well.
This value drives us to seek the Lord’s glory in all we do. We prioritize pleasing God above pleasing man. We ask, “Lord, how can we bring glory to Your name?”
Please the audience of One
This value causes us to seek the Lord’s guidance and prompting in ministry. Though our staff are well-trained and knowledgeable, self-reliance will not take us as far as reliance on the Holy Spirit. We ask, “Lord, what would you have us do?”
There is no substitute for being controlled by the Holy Spirit
As an organization, we seek unity, not uniformity. Our third core value reminds us that diversity is a gift from God and pushes us to extend grace to our fellow staff, even when we differ in views and approaches. We ask, “How has God called us to care for our brothers and sisters?”
We are family in Messiah
The heart of our ministry is God’s heart for the Jewish people. This value highlights the reason Life in Messiah exists: to extend the love of God and truth of the gospel to the Jewish people and equip others to do the same. We ask, “How can we be the hands and feet of Messiah to His chosen people?”
Sharing God’s heart for the Jewish people
This value reflects our desire to cooperate with sister ministries, the local church, and individual believers to promote the gospel among the Jewish people. We believe we can accomplish more when we form gospel-centered partnerships with others. We ask, “Where can we build bridges for the sake of the gospel?”
